In these pages montag is running from the authority. He jumps in a river and drifts down the river a couple yards. He then pulls himself to the side and and sleeps in a barn loft. Inthe morning he continues to run and he runs into some people that are on the side of the train tracks. They give him some coffee and they surprisingly now his name. He asks them how they now his name and they said he was on tv.
